Will spent much of his childhood, as many farmers son’s do, helping on the family farm alongside his grandfather and father. Will developed a natural interest in farming, in particular, arable and engineering tasks from an early age and has always known he would work within the agricultural sector.
Will joined the Turney Group in 2002 for work experience and was offered to stay on as an apprentice.
In 2003 he started an Agricultural Engineering Apprentice course at Brooksby College. During his time there, he won ‘Engineer of The Year Award’ and graduated fully qualified, in 2005.
After qualifying, Will was offered the role of Service Technician, working specifically on the CNH and Trimble products and working his way up to a senior position. Will was then offered the role of Precision Farming Specialist. This role represented the whole Turney Group and encompassed many duties, including selling, installing and maintaining CNH and Trimble products.
After eleven years of employment, Will made the decision to come home to the family farm and set up Hazell Agricultural Services Ltd in order to cultivate his skill sets and to accomplish his dream of being self employed.
Hazell Agricultural Services Ltd had modest beginnings with just a JCB being the main machine. We have grown substantially and have now acquired a fleet of modern equipment. In 2016 the first self propelled sprayer was acquired with a custom fitted avadex unit and first combine was bought in 2017. To coincide with the equipment, we have a dedicated team of staff allowing for large business capabilities.
Will is an individual who takes great pride on the level of service, attention to detail and care offered to all of the new and existing customers across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.
Hazell Agricultural Services Ltd is able to offer services to suit your exacting specification and budget, whether that is Ground Work, Contract Farming or Agricultural Engineering.
